QS Ranking: WHU’s Master in International Business Debuts at #1 in Germany

WHU’s Master in International Business reaches pole position in Germany in 2024 ranking from QS

The Master in International Business at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management has made its impressive debut in the 2024 QS International Trade Ranking for MBA and master’s-level programs. After welcoming its first cohort during the school’s 2021 winter semester, the program has now reached #1 in Germany and #14 in Europe.

“I am thrilled that our program has reached the top position in this QS ranking its first time out the gate,” said Professor Felix Reimann, Academic Director for WHU’s Master in International Business. “These results show that, with our curriculum, we have our finger on the pulse and we are able to open up a world of excellent opportunities for our students’ future careers.”

This renowned ranking from Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) looks at study programs centered around international trade. For their QS Global ranking, the institute collects data from a high number of employers, academic experts, and universities.

WHU’s Master in International Business

Students enrolled in the school’s Master in International Business earn the credentials and hone the leadership skills they need for a career in a variety of economic areas. They spend one semester studying abroad and, with the help of the WHU Career Center, have the chance to find internships at major international firms. The majority of the school’s graduates go on to work in trade, consulting, and banking.

The results of the latest QS ranking also see WHU place highly domestically and across Europe: “trade programme content” (#1 in Germany; #7 in Europe) “graduate outcomes” (#1 and #7 respectively) and “innovative teaching” (#1 and #9 respectively). Additionally, the employment rate among graduates is just over 94%, a significant lead over the international average of 75%. 

QS International Trade Ranking 2024

The QS International Trade Ranking for 2024, intended to help potential students find the right path forward, analyzed relevant MBA and master’s-level programs from 73 universities worldwide. The evaluations were conducted in collaboration with the Hinrich Foundation.
