Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA Program excels in Employer Reputation and Thought Leadership
The joint Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA Program at WHU–Otto Beisheim School of Management has once again achieved top positions in the latest Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Executive MBA Ranking, placing #1 in Germany and #5 worldwide. Compared to the previous year, the program has climbed three places internationally.
“These outstanding results demonstrate that our program equips forward-thinking leaders with an education that directly addresses current global developments while delivering executive education at the highest level,” says Adjunct Prof. Katrin Baedorf, Program Director of the EMBA. “Especially in times like these, it is gratifying to see that these strengths are recognized by the business community and that the investment pays off for our alumni.”
The Kellogg-WHU EMBA Program—one of 31 joint EMBA programs evaluated worldwide—performs particularly well in key categories such as Employer Reputation (again ranked #2) and Thought Leadership (#7). The Employer Reputation category reflects how employers perceive the program; QS gathers this data independently through a dedicated employer survey. Similarly, Thought Leadership is based on an independent academic reputation survey and indicates the extent to which the Kellogg-WHU EMBA is associated with thought leadership.
The program also achieved a strong result in Career Outcomes (#12), which measures average salary increases before and after graduation as well as the percentage of participants who receive a promotion within 12 months of completing the program.
WHU has also made notable progress in the Executive Profile category. This metric considers participants’ average total work experience, average years of leadership experience, and the proportion of participants holding C-level or board positions—an area that has seen a significant increase.
The Kellogg School of Management and WHU launched their joint program in 1997 to provide targeted executive education for business leaders and professionals. The program has been recognized multiple times as a pioneer of executive education in Europe.
The QS EMBA Ranking is considered an important resource for experienced professionals seeking executive education programs tailored to their individual needs.
