During this private, one-to-one call, we will answer your questions, discuss your work experience and career path so far as well as your motivation to pursue an Executive MBA. We will find out how the program can meet your personal or professional goals and expectations. If you send us your CV or share your LinkedIn profile prior to our call, we are able to determine your eligibility and advise you on the next steps.
After we have personally discussed your eligibility for the Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA Program, qualified candidates will be invited to submit their full application. Please complete and submit the following:
- Completed Application Form. Download the form here.
- Most recent CV / résumé
- Two Letters of Recommendation from peers and/or supervisors who know you well — preferably one from your current organization and one from a customer, supplier or previous employer. Recommenders should submit their letters via email directly to our EMBA office. Download the form here.
- Copies of degree certificates and transcripts from all universities you attended. The admission of applicants without a degree from a recognized university or approved institution are underlying special admission requirements.

Upon review of your application, a personal interview with senior admissions staff or faculty will be scheduled. These interviews are mandatory and take place on the WHU campus in Vallendar or Düsseldorf, depending on the interviewers‘ availability. During the interviews we will especially look at your work experience, managerial related work experience and current role and responsibilities. During your visit we recommend to participate in a tour around campus and its facilities.
Within two weeks of your interview, our Admissions Board will inform you via email about their decision. The committee takes a holistic look at each candidate, evaluating experience and expertise, academic success, management and leadership achievements as well as potential.
In some cases, an additional interview with Kellogg-WHU EMBA alumni will be required. This interview will be personal or via skype.
If you’ve been admitted to our program, we strongly suggest informing us regarding your intentions to accept this offer as soon as possible, at the latest prior to the next admissions round.
Upon your acceptance and receipt of all required application documents, we will send out your Kellogg-WHU EMBA study contract. As soon as we receive a signed copy we can start your enrollment process. Our Program Managers who will be your first point of contact throughout your studies will contact you and guide you through the preparations for your first module.
