WHU’s Growing Master in Finance Program Moves to Campus Düsseldorf

Incoming students of Germany’s top financial master’s program to explore new opportunities in one of the country’s most influential business hubs

WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management has announced plans to move its Master in Finance Program to its campus in Düsseldorf. Starting with the 2025 fall semester, one of Germany’s largest business hubs will be home to one of WHU’s most successful programs.

The move reflects the continued success and steady growth that the program has experienced since its inception. With the Financial Times having consistently recognized the school as offering Germany’s #1 Master in Finance for the past four years, the program is looking toward the future. The capital of North Rhine-Westphalia is also regarded as an epicenter of Germany’s scientific, financial, and technological development, as well as a major insurance hub. And students who enroll in the program from next year on will benefit from the lively metropolitan environment and highly diverse and international community.

“The relocation will further strengthen the program,” said Professor Ralf Fendel, Academic Director of the Master in Finance. “In Düsseldorf, our students will begin their studies at a true gateway of global financial business.” Professor Fendel is one of the driving forces behind the move north, alongside Associate Dean Graduate Programs Professor Carl Marcus Wallenburg, Assistant Dean and Program Director BSc and MSc Steffen Löv, and Director Campus Management in Düsseldorf Rebecca Winkelmann.
