Moritz Homrich receives funding for one-year master’s program in Beijing
The Schwarzman Scholarship is considered one of the most prestigious and selective scholarships in the world and is designed to provide education to tomorrow’s outstanding international leaders. Selected from nearly 5,000 applicants, Moritz Homrich, who earned his bachelor’s degree from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in 2023, is one of only 149 students, hailing from 38 countries around the world, to receive this honor. Those chosen will receive full funding for the one-year Master of Global Affairs from Schwarzman College at Tsinghua University, Beijing.
Any graduate of an accredited bachelor’s program qualifies, but only those who demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities, academic excellence, and a strong interest in global issues have the greatest chances of receiving the scholarship. “A dream has come true. I'm really looking forward to spending a year living and learning with students from all over the world at Schwarzman College and, at the same time, exploring China,” says scholarship holder Moritz Homrich.
The Schwarzman Scholarship was established in 2016 by Stephen A. Schwarzman, American financier, billionaire, and the Chairman and CEO of the Blackstone Group investment company.
