WHU Donates Children’s Bicycles to Vallendar Elementary School

Cycling has been proven to support not only children’s development and health, but also their independence and self-confidence. On November 21, WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management donated four children’s bicycles to Karl d’Ester Elementary School in Vallendar and handed them over to the students and Principal Simon Smart on the school grounds. Third-grade students will now use the bikes as part of their traffic safety education.

With this donation, WHU aims to demonstrate its close ties to the city of Vallendar while also supporting the children’s hands-on learning. “We are pleased to make a small contribution to the children’s traffic safety and mobility,” WHU stated.
