Ticket Pre-Sale for Koblenz Charity Movie Thriller Shot on WHU Campus

Tickets for November 21st premiere of 12th Koblenz Charity Thriller now available

What if WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management transformed into a police academy? And its reception desk were transposed to a hotel somewhere? Those who wish to see the business school in an entirely different light can attend the premiere of the 12th Koblenz Charity ThrillerSoko Karmelenberg—to be held in the larger hall at the Rhein-Mosel-Halle on Friday, November 21, at 20:00 (8:00 PM). Doors open at 18:30 (6:30 PM), and tickets are on sale now.

Director and author Bernd Schneider worked over several weekends earlier this year, filming certain scenes on WHU’s campus in Vallendar. This includes the Albach Lecture Hall, now a lecture hall for the film’s police academy; the office of Professor Arnd HuchzermeierChair of Production Management; the C-building; the reception area; and the known Goethezimmer.

Schneider brought the idea of the Koblenz Charity Thriller to life over 25 years ago, with the goal of having the films’ proceeds go toward other charitable projects. To date, funds have gone toward, for example, children’s aid organizations, as well as the Vallendar-based Verein Lichtzeichen, which helps pregnant women and girls in need.

Tickets for the film’s premiere can be had for 15€ by contacting filmpremiere[at]t-online.de or by calling 01575 7896535 Monday through Friday between the hours of 17:00 (5:00 PM) and 19:00 (7:00 PM).
