Several of WHU’s faculty members appear on Research.com’s researcher ranking
Research.com has published its list of the world’s researchers—highlighting the efforts of no fewer than seven researchers from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. In its recent ranking of the “Best Business and Management Scientists” are Adjunct Professor Malte Brettel (#16 in Germany and #592 worldwide), Professor Holger Ernst (#41 and #1118), Professor Lutz Kaufmann (#44 and #1245), Professor Dries Faems (#58 and #1739), Professor Stefan Spinler (#59 and #1789), and Professor Nadine Kammerlander (#60 and #1849). The ranking reflects the top one percent of scientists in each research area. Notably, Professor Burcin Yurtoglu has been also ranked at #85 domestically and #2448 globally in the publication’s list of “Best Economics and Finance Scientists.”
Professor David Audretsch, who lectures at WHU as an honorary professor, reached the top position globally.
A researcher’s position in the ranking is based on the “D-Index” (Disciplinary H-Index), which exclusively considers publications and citation figures relevant to the subject area in question.
