The SCM Journal List Ranking lists WHU in the top spot
WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management ranks first in Germany in the current SCM Journal List University Ranking when considering all included journals over the period 2010–2025.
The ranking is based on the scientific publication output of universities worldwide in the fields of Supply Chain Management and Operations Management. It considers publications in eight leading international academic journals, including Management Science, Operations Research, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Business Logistics, Decision Sciences, and Journal of Supply Chain Management.
The SCM Journal List is regarded as one of the most important international benchmarks for research performance in Supply Chain Management. The ranking evaluates universities based on their publications in these leading journals and enables comparisons across different time periods and journal sets.
WHU’s top position in Germany for the aggregated period 2010–2025 across all included journals highlights the strong international visibility of WHU’s research in Supply Chain Management and Operations.
