WHU Joins the QS Responsible AI Consortium
WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management has joined the QS Responsible AI Consortium (RAIC), a global network of forward-thinking institutions dedicated to advancing the responsible integration of AI in higher education. This makes WHU the first German school to join this project. It underscores the school’s strategic ambition to actively shape the responsible use of artificial intelligence across teaching, research, and institutional operations, and to contribute to the development of international standards in Responsible AI.
Launched by higher education experts QS Quacquarelli Symonds, in collaboration with founding members Imperial Business School, EDHEC, and Luiss Business School, the initiative aims to advance the responsible use and development of AI in higher education through a global network of world-leading institutions.
The Responsible AI Consortium provides universities and business schools worldwide with a forum to integrate and advance AI in higher education through AI Capability assessment, project-based experiential learning, collaborative research, and a sandbox environment for piloting new technologies. Meanwhile, Working and Discovery Groups led by RAIC faculty are becoming central drivers of research, innovation, and synergy around cutting-edge topics.
Dr. Steffen Löv, Assistant Dean Programs says: "WHU’s decision to join the QS Responsible AI Consortium underscores our commitment to educating responsible and entrepreneurial leaders – changemakers who integrate human and artificial intelligence to tackle organizational and societal challenges and actively shape a more sustainable and prosperous tomorrow. We see that this aligns deeply with the Consortium’s ambition to define global standards for the ethical development, deployment, and advancement of AI in education.”
“We look forward to working alongside QS and the distinguished partners on such critical topic as ethical and responsible AI integration. Above all, this reflects our dedication not only to shaping the future of management education, but also to actively shaping the public and societal role higher education plays.” adds Dr. Anna Zeis, Director Learning and Innovation.
Members of the Consortium include Imperial College Business School, EDHEC Business School, LUISS Business School, and the London School of Economics, among others.
