Students hosted 24th annual Idea Lab! – WHU Founders’ Conference from October 4 – 5
Where do you go when you have an idea but aren’t sure how to make it reality?
The student-run annual IdeaLab! – WHU Founders’ Conference has been bringing ambitious and aspiring entrepreneurs together with some of today’s most successful professionals since 2000. And from October 4 – 5, the event was scheduled to take place again at the Vallendar campus of WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. This year’s two-day conference, titled “Collaborate to Innovate,” featured a diverse program and a roster of prominent guest speakers, from Michael Brehm (Founding Partner at Redstone) to Tim Gabel (Founder at Olakala & G-IN Fitness) to Jan Henrik Leisse (CEO & Co-Founder of eleQtron).
IdeaLab!, a staple at the school since its inception, has set itself the mission of helping the next generation of thinkers to explore new business opportunities, access the school’s top-notch entrepreneurial network, and receive unique insights and advice from those who know best. The large-scale event is a chance to speak one-on-one and connect with venture capitalists, angel investors, and influencers. And for many, it is the start of something new and exciting.
Several potential investors and experienced entrepreneurs have been on site, alongside corporate representatives from McKinsey, Flaschenpost, Orrick, and more. Together, they provided attendees a chance to present their own ideas during the scheduled IdeaTank! session, career fair, and pitch battle.
