Henkel CEO Carsten Knobel Visits WHU

On March 31, 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming Carsten Knobel, CEO of Henkel, to the WHU Campus Düsseldorf as part of the MBA course “Corporate Finance & Governance.” His guest lecture offered participants a unique opportunity to learn firsthand from one of the leading figures in the industrial and consumer goods sector.

In his talk, Mr. Knobel provided MBA students with fascinating insights into the company Henkel. He emphasized that, in his view, Corporate Finance is a key management tool and the foundation for sustainable growth. Mr. Knobel also highlighted the importance of having a clear set of values and consistently embedding them into strategic decision-making. Particular attention was given to sustainability, which Henkel sees as a core element of its corporate strategy — Henkel considers itself an active driver and shaper of sustainable development.
