Reaching #22 worldwide, WHU’s program leads to excellent prospects for its alumni
The 2026 edition of the Master’s in Management (MiM) Ranking, published by the renowned university analysist firm Quacquarelli Symonds, has revealed high marks for WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management: Despite a noticeable increase in the number of schools included in this year’s ranking—235 up from 206 the previous year—WHU’s MiM has placed #1 in Germany and #22 globally, two spots higher than its placement in the 2025 edition.
The program performed particularly well regarding “value for money” and “alumni outcomes,” reaching #14 and #18 respectively in both categories, and showed improvement in “thought leadership” (#28) and “employability” (#34). However, there is still room for improvement in the “diversity” category.
Altogether, WHU’s MiM earned 78.5 out of a possible 100 points, with the program standing far above the average of all international business schools in four out of five categories.
“Bachelor students who want to take their career to the next level can gain the knowledge they need to do so with our Master in Management,” says Professor Christian Andres, Dean of WHU. “Regardless of whether they have entrepreneurial aspirations or wish to work in consulting, manufacturing, or the services sectors. Whether they want to live and work in Europe, North America, or in Asia. Our internationally recognized program opens doors all over the world.”
