WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, hereinafter called WHU, is pleased that you are visiting our Website. It is of great concern to us that your personal data are protected when they are processed and we want you to feel safe and secure while you are browsing through our Internet pages. 

We would now like to explain which information we collect at the WHU when you visit our Website and how this information is used.

Personal data means any information concerning the personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable individual. Collecting and Processing Personal Data

Using, Disclosing and Distributing Personal Data

If you have provided us with any personal data we only use these data for technical administration of our Web pages and to respond to your wishes and requests, which as a rule means to process any contract concluded with you or to reply to any queries you may have. The WHU takes all the necessary technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against loss and misuse. Your data are stored in a secure operating environment for example, which the public cannot access. If you wish to contact the WHU by e-mail, we would draw your attention to the fact that the confidentiality of the information transmitted cannot be guaranteed. Third parties can view the contents of e-mails. We therefore recommend that you send us confidential information only by post.
